Accommodation can be described in two different ways, there is serviced and non-serviced. Once you have read this information you will have a clear understanding of the two and will know examples of them both.a

Serviced- Serviced accommodation is were your meals, accommodation and house keeping are provided, so your guest rooms would be cleaned, your beds would be made and your towels would be changed regularly. This would be provided if you stay in a Hotel, B&B, Travel Lodge, Guest House or a Country House Hotel. Many people choose to stay in a serviced accommodation because it would give them the opportunity to relax due to not having to make their own food or doing chores, so serviced accommodation gives people the sense to get away from their everyday lives for a while.
Non serviced- Non serviced accommodation is usually no meals or house keeping provided. Examples of this is when you go camping, staying on a caravan site, holiday cottages, apartments or holiday camps. However, non-serviced accommodation is more expensive than serviced because you have to buy your own food and if you wanted to pay for a housekeeper as well you would be spending more money, where as serviced accommodation you get all that included. |
